The Teviot Range is a mountain range in the Scenic Rim of South East Queensland, Australia. The mountains are also referred to as the Flinders Peak group with another range separated south of Teviot Brook, that is called the Dugandan Range. The range stretches from south east of Ipswich to north west of Beaudesert. The first Europeans to cross the range were Patrick Logan and his exploration party in June 1827.[1] The highest mountain in the range is called Flinders Peak reaching 679 m above sea level. Other peaks in the group include Mount Joyce (469 m), Ivory's Knob (309 m), Mount Weecome (341 m), Mount Blaine (457 m) and Mount Goolman (454 m) located just south of Ripley.[2] Bremer River catchment drains the western slopes with Oxley Creek in the north and the Logan River catchment to the east.
