Good point. Some (free) suggestions:

Audi R8	Audi R8 ADT	Audi R10	Dallara SP1
Lola EX257 LMP1	35 Maserati MC12.jpg Maserati MC12 GT1	Peugeot 908

We should choose an image. In the mean time I have changed it to the Maserati MC12 image. Personally I would prefer either the Maserati MC12 and the Audi R10. Just add any other suggestions to the gallery. James086^{Talk | Email} 08:18, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I also changed the images on Template:WP:SCR User and at WP:MOTOR to free alternatives. Again, they can be changed, it's just important not to use a non-free image anywhere but the article-space. James086^{Talk | Email} 08:36, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

If I can Photoshop out the background of Image:Lowenbrau962.JPG, I think it may be a good picture to use since it's one of the most recognizable sports cars, it's a free image that I personally took and released (all the ones in that gallery I believe are Flickr photos), and with the background removed it'll be easy to see. I've taken the liberty of finally changing the image on the banner to the 962. The other suggested image, although it does show three classes of cars at the same time, I think is difficult to read since the three cars overlap one another. If no one objects to this change, then hopefully we can consider the matter solved. The359 06:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
