[edit] DiscussionI added the Assyrian calendar - 76.191.168.229 (talk) 03:42, 7 February 2008 (UTC) Added the French Calendrier républicain and the Aztec calendar; also added links to the different rounds of the Mayan and Aztec calendars (by analogy with the Thai solar and lunar ones), and added the Mesoamerican calendar and its subsets under 'calendar types'. Not sure whether the r in Calendrier républicain ought to be capitalized or not, or if it matters. - 76.188.177.20 (talk) 18:18, 5 March 2008 (UTC) Also, added the Ancient Roman, Rapa Nui, Pawukon, Hellenic, Attic, Babylonian, and Lithuanian. 76.188.177.20 (talk) 19:40, 5 March 2008 (UTC) [edit] Islamic calendar is not in wide use todayAccordning to the article on the islamic calendar: "Saudi Arabia is currently the only Muslim country to use the Islamic calendar as the calendar of daily government business". It does not seem that the islamic calendar is still in wide use, at least not more than, say, the chinese traditional / farming calendar. I'm moving the islamic calendar to the section of the other historic calendars. 89.253.122.71 (talk) 01:26, 27 December 2008 (UTC) | ||||||||||||||||||||||
