Arab singers are known with their first names, first name is always used everywhere in the Arab world. If you used their last names (If they were available) people will not recognize them :) radiant guy 18:24, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

The list of artists should be just scrapped in its entirety, because, well, this is a template not an indiscriminate list of all Arabic language singers. I also find it rather strange that the singers are sorted by gender.
