{{WP UK Politics}} is for identifying all pages within the scope of WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom.
- class; for assessing the quality of pages according to the Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team Assessment criteria. Applicable options for articles are FA, FL, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub and List. Current and Future can be used for articles about forthcoming events (these articles should be reassessed under the normal criteria once the event has passed). Non-articles can be assessed as Dab or NA (Category, Image and Template class will be set automatically based on the namespace of the talk page).
- bn; a checklist for whether the article passes B-class will appear when the main class parameter has been set to either B or C. There are 6 items on the checklist, which respond to either yes or no.
- importance; for assessing the importance of pages to the WikiProject according to the importance scale (Note, full importance criteria has not yet been defined by the WikiProject). Available options are Top, High, Mid, Low and NA (Non-article). NA will be set automatically for Category, Image and Template pages.
- attention; this should only be used if a page needs urgent attention and you are unable to take action yourself. This is not to be used for requesting general assistance with an article (normal requests for help from the WikiProject should be made on the main talk page). Available options are yes or no.
- needs-infobox; should be set to yes if the page needs an infobox.
- needs-picture; should be set to yes if the page needs an image.
- needs-persondata; should be set to yes if the page needs persondata.
- small; reduces the banner size. Activate this option with yes.
- auto; identifies if the page has been automatically assessed by a bot. Should be set to yes if auto-assessed or removed if manually assessed (you can also remove it if you agree with the auto assessment).
