[edit] [] NB: This is tailored to Australian wineries. If it is not appropriate please use Template:Infobox Company. [edit] UsageThe winery_name and location parameters are obligatory. Key people might include founders, owners, winemakers, vineyard manager. Other products is meant to include things like brandy, sparkling wine, olive oil, port, etc -- not logo gear like tee shirts and coffee mugs, and not vanity products like mustard and salad dressing. Please verify varietal names so they link properly. Unlike the US infobox, location is not automatically linked as many places in Australia are, for example, names such as "XXX, Victoria" and even that State is "Victoria, Australia". Fields that automatically create internal links: coordinates, years, varietals, other products. Fields where you have to make your own links: All others such as, location, wine region, signature wine, key people, parent company. {{Infobox Australian winery | winery_name = | winery_logo = | location_place = | location_state = | location_country = | coordinates = <!-- Use {{coord}} --> | wine_region = <!--e.g. Coonawarra--> | former_name = | other_labels= <!--if the winery makes more than one label--> | year_founded = | first_vines = | first_vintage = | key_people = | parent_company = | cases_per_year = | signature_wine = <!--e.g. Grange --> | varietal1 = <!--e.g. Shiraz--> | varietal2 = | varietal3 = | varietal4 = | varietal5 = | varietal6 = | varietal7 = | varietal8 = | varietal9 = | varietal10 = | varietal11 = | varietal12 = | varietal13 = | varietal14 = | varietal15 = | other_product1= <!--e.g. olive oil--> | other_product2= | other_product3= | other_product4= | other_product5= | homepage= | other_attractions = <!--e.g. Wetland tours--> | distribution = <!--e.g. national, regional, limited, restaurants, wine club only, etc--> | tasting= <!--open to public, by appointment, special events, etc--> }} [edit] MicroformatThe HTML mark up produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the place-name and location parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue article across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to an address book. Within the hCard is a Geo microformat, which additionally makes the coordinates (latitude & longitude) parsable, so that they can be, say, looked up on a map, or downloaded to a GPS unit. For more information about the use of microformats on Wikipedia, please see the microformat project. If the place or venue has an "established", "founded", "opened" or similar date, use {{Start date}}. hCard uses HTML classes including:
Geo is produced by calling {{coord}}, and uses HTML classes:
Please do not rename or remove these classes; nor collapse nested elements which use them. When giving coordinates, please don't be overly precise. | ||||
