Syntax for current month:

 {{COI|date=December 2009}} 

Pasteable text for any month (automatically inserted):

 {{COI|{{subst:DATE}}}} 

This template will categorise tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles with possible conflicts of interest.

This template is a self-reference.

This template is not useful for substitution.

For a template intended to warn someone with a possible COI, see Template:uw-coi.
