Telesistema Mexicano is the broadcast distribution arm of Grupo Televisa, Mexico's largest broadcaster. It started out as a group of independent, locally owned television stations - much like Britain's ITV at its early days.

Currently, Telesistema Mexicano operates 227 stations throughout Mexico, broken down thus:

  • 128 repeaters of XEW-TV Channel 2, "El Canal de las Estrellas"
  • 66 repeaters of XHGC-TV Channel 5
  • 30 repeaters of XEQ-TV Channel 9, Galavisión (not to be confused with the U.S. Spanish cable network Galavisión, which is also affiliated with Televisa)
  • 20 local stations, including XHTV-TV Channel 4

Telesistema Mexicano is also affiliated with 32 independently owned local stations around the country.
