Tassili Airlines is a passenger airline based in Algiers, Algeria. It provides scheduled domestic services and as transport for workers to oil fields in Algeria. Its main base is Houari Boumedienne Airport.

The U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing has won the largest contract before its competitors Airbus and Bombardier. The contract was awarded by Tassili Airlines, the airline, a 100% subsidiary of Sonatrach, after a bid opening for the commercial offers organized yesterday. This is the provision of 4 Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 150 seats, amounting to 228.49 million. The Brazilian manufacturer Embraer is the second winner of this selection to Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier. It will provide 3 Tassili Airlines ERJ aircraft with a capacity of 100 seats for a total of 104.68 million. The latter consists of 2 aircraft with a capacity of 70 seats was declared unsuccessful. Embraer and Bombardier disputed contract. The chairman of the committee responsible for organizing the opening of bids has explained that the bids of competitors did not meet the specifications required by Tassili Airlines (Tal). Delivery times are set between 18 and 30 months from the date of signing the contract. For modules of 150 seats in particular, the delays are between 18 and 24 months.
