This article is very interesting. Here is a woman who is very accomplished, has spoken a great deal, has written a great deal, has influenced for good the lives of many people- and half of this article is about a little speech she gave and the people who overreacted to it. I have personally heard Sheri speak, and have read many of her books. She has always spoken in very unifying, uplifting, and inspiring terms. It's unfortunate that one misconstrued point from one poorly phrased passage of a speech is the only detail some care to remember about this remarkable woman!

Someone please edit or remove this paragraph: "Other angry bloggers hurled attacks at Sheri, which were completely unrelated to any of her comments. Despite these personal attacks, she never retaliated." The paragraph seems vague, to say the least. It's also sexist, because it refers to Dew as "Sheri".
