[edit] star

I removed the comment about him being the "newest" Brazilian star as he isn't (that mantle goes to Massa). And I don't think he is unpopular amongst Brazilians, so I removed that too. If I am wrong, put it back, but provide a source.Damian Corrigan 18:38, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

You are correct about him not being a star in Brazil, but your statement: "I don't think he is unpopular amongst Brazilians" is untrue. - This is an encyclopedia, opinions shouldn't count and it is a known fact to anyone who has lived in Brazil in the past few years that Rubinho is extremely unpopular and not very well liked because of his inability to race. Because of Senna, the standards were set high and he, unfortunately, was unable to make himself an idol. He is known in Brazil as: "Rubinho pé de chinelo" which refers to his inability to race - therefore I think it should be added that he is very unpopular in Brazil. --Nandogm (talk) 20:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Italian origin

What does "of Italian origins" mean? Are his parents Italian? Or it's just that "Barrichello" sounds Italian? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.125.34.151 (talk) 21:34, 9 February 2007 (UTC).

His family is from Treviso, as is duly referenced. Macgreco 00:16, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
The information was here already, anyway, in the references section. Rubens's greatgreat-grandfather was Italian. Macgreco 00:20, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Photo

Would it be appropriate to switch the photo to him in a Honda uniform? Or would it be better to keep the current image since his career will probably be defined by his Ferrari days? The Dunnie 18:34, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I'd stick with the Ferrari picture, as it was taken during his prime. It'd be a bit harsh to immortalise him as the poor sap in the appalling Honda Earth car! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.232.208.134 (talk) 14:17, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Do we have one of Brawn then? Chubbennaitor 12:05, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] JOKE

This joke is funny to a Barrichello when he was in Ferrari team. [[1]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.32.175.45 (talk) 13:24, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Retirement?

Until the information the the Honda team have failed to find a buyer and that by implication Barrichello has retired can be sourced it is still only someone's opinion. Please do not waste your time adding anything that implies this to the text as this page is watched and until confirmation arrives it will be reverted faster than a Jarno Trulli qualifying lap. Britmax (talk) 19:03, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] starts

The succession box lists most F1 entries, what about F1 starts? 70.29.213.241 (talk) 07:06, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Results?

I was wondering if whether his results table has gotten so long it deserves it's own page with the last three years on the main page. Chubbennaitor 12:04, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

I'd be loath to do that. If we do it for Barrichello, then it could be argued we should do the same for Patrese, M.Schumacher, Coulthard etc, etc. DH85868993 (talk) 16:53, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
I agree, and I don't want to call time on Rubinho's career, but there probably won't be more than one or two more seasons anyway. I don't think it's too long. Bretonbanquet (talk) 17:33, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Agree with the others. No need to remove years, as it doesn't amount to an excessive length. Take Paul Tracy's article for instance, that's got results from all of his seventeen ChampCar seasons. Cs-wolves(talk) 17:47, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Quick action by officials ensured survival in Imola

The first officials who arrived in the scene turned the car and caused Barrichellos head to shake violently. So i think the first officials actually didn't help at all. They only could have made it much much worse. I think the line should be changed that Sid Watkins with his team ensured survival. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.250.84.83 (talk) 18:23, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
