Indeed it does run 14:36 (give or take a second). There are shorter versions as well the radio edit at 5:03 and a longer version at 7:37. But the full 12" club version is indeed 14:36.

It isn't? That's over 10 minutes! There aren't to many songs (even on 12" singles that run that long).

This can't be correct. I believe Good Times is the earlier song. In fact, elsewhere in this Wikipedia, Another One Bites The Dust is listed as a 1980 release, and Good Times was released in 1979. I cannot, that's right CANNOT believe the matter of Chic is even in dispute. It is quite ocbviously Chic, I have heard that breakdown section hundreds if not thousands of times and I'd know it anywhere. I cannot believe you guys. The band said it was replayed to get out of the Atlantic Records portion of the payoff. Chic made much more money by removing the label from the deal (eliminate the middle man), like, DUH!! What gets me most bummed is that I'm trying to save the history of hip hop culture in the Wiki by starting the breakdown section entry and I'm in an editing dispute and they want to delete it so I come here to bolster my arguments and you all just let me down... sigh...--Tednor 21:20, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Ok I am new to this thing...all I did was correct a misguided link...the linked page existed but did not appear as listed. Hope I did not break any protocol...though judging by the formal layout of even this page I am sure I have.

I'd say it's the Chic breakdown - HOWEVER, only the drum and bass lines comes from Good Times directly. Everything else is almost definitely rerecorded - try mixing it into Good Times and you'll see what I mean! 82.31.213.237 01:04, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
