Alright; I've finished moving this over from the main DW page, and also reordered it some (DW1 characters are listed first in alphabetical order, then DW2, DW3, and so on).

It still needs significant cleanup - there's an awful lot of fancruft in here. UOSSReiska 21:12, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Why are generic officers not listed here?

Largely in the interest of brevity, as well as their lack of anything setting them apart. If one were to list all the generics, you'd easily have a few hundred entries, and they all fight exactly like one of three or four of the main characters (forget which exactly). There are a few generics that might be worth including, because they actually get speaking lines (Liu Zhang, Yuan Shu, etc.), though. UOSSReiska 12:06, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

A list of generics would be useful. I know this because I want to use it, and I am an encyclopedia user, am I not? Samurai Warriors has one.

[edit] Xtreme Legends Battles

Why are no battles from Xtreme Legends games mentioned in notable battles for characters?--76.103.233.244 21:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

The notable battles section just lists level from the characters musou in DW5. XL battle are not in any musou, and DW2-DW4 battles are not mentioned as well. THe way it is now keeps it short but to the point. --EveryDayJoe45 16:22, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Look closer and you'll see it's currently in the process of an overhaul. Check the history and you'll find I've added a considerable number of references to some of the characters. If you'd like to help by adding an out-of-universe introduction (such as can be found at List of Metal Gear Solid characters or Characters of Final Fantasy VIII) please do so. Until I have more time away from life, and as long as I am the only person permanently involved in this overhaul, it's gonna take awhile, so please have patience.
