I think that the articles should be kept seperate - the topic of plant defense is extremely broad and so having a seperate article for inducible defense makes sense to me. Smartse (talk) 16:29, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

This is an important article covering a wide range of plant defense reponses to pathogens, insects and disease. To merge with herbivory makes no sense. --Agrihouse (talk) 14:07, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
