[edit] StubI think this page is too big to be a stub replaced it with expand --Abc518 (talk) 20:10, 1 August 2009 (UTC) [edit] Not advertWhile it is true that the service logo (Brand) is present on the page, and the subscriber numbers would be best documented, I don't see why this is considered blatant advertising. In fact, it is stated that the cost of this service is 2-3 times hosting your own apps. No I don't work with, own stock in or am associated with Amazon in any way. I do think hosted services are valuable and I want to know about them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronio (talk • contribs) 2007-07-06 17:31:37 I agree. CNET had a video that mentioned many projected Amazon's stock would "tank" after Amazon released "Web Services" and (because I know nothing about programming/software development) I had no idea what they were talking about. I went straight to wikipedia to try to find out. Keep (and expand in a neutral way) this article. Lawyer2b (talk) 18:22, 16 December 2007 (UTC) I moved the tag from the article to the discussion page beacause I agree with the other comments here that it looks fine, and no one has explained what they find wrong with it. I think there have been improvements made to the article since the tag was originally placed. Rattle (talk) 21:51, 15 October 2008 (UTC) I agree with above: the article's tone seems neutral to me, as well. I removed the tag.Barte (talk) 15:57, 18 February 2009 (UTC) [edit] other meanings for AWS?i hear this acronym used for other things? What else it stands for? StupidFrog 03:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC) |
