Should "159" be included in the title of this article, similar to the way in which both "4CL" and "4CLT" are included in the title of Maserati 4CL and 4CLT? i.e. should this article be renamed as "Alfa Romeo 158/159" or "Alfa Romeo 158 and 159" or maybe even "Alfetta 158/159"? I'm concerned that people will see "159" linked to Alfa Romeo 158 and think it's a mistake. Normally, I would just leave this article called "Alfa Romeo 158" and create a redirect to it called "Alfa Romeo 159", but Alfa Romeo 159 is an existing article about a different car (a road car). -- DH85868993 07:09, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Win at Merano

In the article the last win is said to have occurred at the Merano Grand Prix in 1953. I have been searching, but can't find any information about this supposed Formula One race. What I did find was a sports car race at Merano on September 6, 1953, called "Gran Premio Supercortemaggiore". This was won by Fangio in an Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM Spider. [1] I suspect that the information about a last win for the Alfetta in 1953 is faulty and that it never raced again after the 1951 season. --KaptenKrater (talk) 20:37, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Yep I have been also wondering this but its sourced from Alfa Romeo book (mentioned in sources, Borgeson, Griffith. The Alfa Romeo Tradition), maybe it is error on book, I have tried also to find confirmation on internet but cant find any, espceailly I have been trying to find all results from that Merano race, if it had more clasess than the class where 6c was driven. --Typ932 ^T·C 11:00, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

The book has on page 203 race results and it says 1953 G.P di Merano Italy J.M. Fangio (place:) I (Car type) 159 --Typ932 ^T·C 11:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
