Stjepan Brodarić (1480-1539) (Hungarian: Brodarics István) was a Croatian bishop and writer.

Early records show that Brodarić was dean of Zagreb church in 1498. He studied in Padua around the years 1501 to 1506, receiving his doctorate in (most probably) canonical law. After his studies he was appointed personal secretary to the bishop of Pécs.

In 1515 Brodarić became dean of Pécs cathedral; he was made head prelate there shortly afterwards. In 1521 he became secretary to the king, in 1524 dean cantor at the church in Ostrogon. He also served as the king’s chancellor and the bishop of Srijem. King János Szapolyai nominated Brodarić as bishop of Pécs in 1536; he became bishop of Vacz in 1538 and served there until his death in 1539.

Brodarić participated in several diplomatic missions and wrote an account of the Battle of Mohacs in 1526.
