Staffan Kronwall (born September 10, 1983 in Järfälla, Sweden) is a professional ice hockey defenceman for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League. He is the younger brother of Detroit Red Wings defender Niklas Kronwall.

Kronwall was drafted in the 9th round, 285th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. The Washington Capitals claimed him off re-entry waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 6, 2009.^[1] He signed with the Calgary Flames via free agency in July 2009.

Kronwall represented his country at the 2002 World Junior Championship and collected 0 points and 4 penalty minutes in 7 games for Sweden.

Kronwall scored his first NHL goal on October 6, 2009 in a 4-3 win against Jaroslav Halak of the Montreal Canadiens.
