Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon. It is used mostly for football matches and it also has athletics facilities. The stadium has seats for 38,720, but for important matches standing areas can be created, increasing the capacity.[1] It was built in 1972, and is the home stadium of Canon Yaoundé and Tonnerre Yaoundé.The stadium is also known as the home venue of the Cameroonian national football, who have played lots of games in the stadium.The stadium is noted for the games they have played.
