Sophie Ferguson (born 19 March 1986, in Sydney) is an Australian professional tennis player.

Ferguson's best performance at a Grand Slam tournament was at the 2005 Australian Open, where she lost in the second round to Nadia Petrova, 4–6, 6–0, 6–1. At the 2007 Australian Women's Hardcourts she defeated former world number 26 Ai Sugiyama.

Ferguson has undergone coaching from Australian tennis legend Tony Roche.

Sophie played at the 2009 Hansol Korea Open, she got through qualifying and had to verse former champion of the tournament Maria Kirilenko. She made an impressive start but failed at the end going down 6-4, 1-6, 2-6.
