[edit] Trivia
- Amigas y Rivales, novela produced by Emilio Larrosa as well, features similar characters and themes as Soñadoras in that the novela focused on the lives of 4 teenage girls and 4 teenage guys. Unlike Soñadoras however, Amigas Y Rivales tackled a few more controversial issues such HIV/AIDS and even issues concerning sexual orientation.
- An error of this novela was, that Carlos (Julieta's ex-boyfriend) bought her a 1999 Nissan Sentra, and said that the car was on Julieta's name. When they ended their relationship, Julieta switched cars to another Nissan model.
- Like many other novelas produced by Televisa, Soñadoras featured a post-novela special called "Lo Que Se Vio Y No Se Vio de Soñadoras." In this special, we get to see the Soñadoras and Soñadores on their trip to Acapulco. This featured a video clip of the cast jet-skiing, surfing, swimming, playing frisbee and volleyball, a fashion show, a performance at the Hard Rock cafe of "Noches de Verrano," the spanish version of the hit song Summer Nights from "Grease. Ana and Ruben finally come to an understanding with each other, and even become a couple. Ruben and Beto make peace after Ruben decides to give up fighting for Julieta. Aracely Arambula (Jaqueline) appeared on the special but only in the cast reunion, alternate ending, and special message from the Soñadoras y Soñadores. It is believed that she was unable to film the extra footage because of conflicts with her music recording schedule. The special also aired bloopers and outtakes, Angelica Vale (Julieta) doing impressions of her fellow Soñadoras and even Thalia. Montages of the show's kisses and fights were also featured. What were most notable about the special were the alternate endings. In the alternate endings, Eugenio de la Peña was given two extra endings: 1) the first in which he ends up in a psychiatric ward and 2) he drowns himself in the ocean at an undisclosed location, but before doing so he calls his daughter Jaqueline to ask her for forgiveness one last time. Fernanda and Jose-Luis have an alternate ending, in which Eugenio kills Fernanda at their wedding, which changes destiny and allows for Jose-Luis and Jaqueline to get back together and raise Fernanda's daughter. Manuel and Ana end up together as a result. The more famous alternate, and preferred endings, consisted of Julieta choosing Ruben over Beto, which persuades Beto to forgive Lucia and even date her again. In the end, Ana and Gerardo were left alone but it was suggested that there could have been a romance between the two. At the end, we're shown what the Soñadoras and Soñadores were doing during the special show, which was painting and crafting the main logo of the novela with its main theme, "Soñadoras: Di No A Las Drogas."
