Slavicisation is a term used to describe a cultural change in which something non-Slavic becomes Slavic. The process can either be voluntary, or applied with varying degrees of force.

The term is used mainly in connection with the Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Greeks, Romanians, Hungarians, Macedonians, Bulgarians and various ethnic groups in both Europe and Asia, to denote that these populations are largely not Slavs in a genetic sense originally but have adapted various extents of Slavic traits through the process of assimilation.
