Skynet Asia Airways Co., Ltd. (スカイネットアジア航空株式会社 Sukainetto Ajia Kōkū Kabushiki-gaisha?) is a low-cost airline based in Miyazaki, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.[1] It operates services mainly between Miyazaki/Kumamoto/Nagasaki and Tokyo. Beginning September 2007, flights to Kagoshima will be introduced. Recently, the airline has announced it will offer discounts for foreign tourists that are up to 65% lower than regular fares. It is the first time a Japanese airline has offered a discount fare aimed only at tourists from abroad.[2]

The airline was established in May 2002 and started operations in July 2002. It was formerly Pan Asia Airlines. It launched services as the fourth new airline in a deregulated Japanese market since 1998. The airline is owned by the Industrial Revitalisation Corporation of Japan (56.9%) and Mera Electric Industrial Corporation (11.7%). m nn
