Sky Angel U.S. LLC. describes itself as a "Christian-owned and operated multi-channel television service specializing in Christian and family-friendly TV and radio programming.^[1]"

Sky Angel has a total channel lineup of over 75 channels. The faith-based channel lineup currently includes more than 30 television channels and 20 radio channels. Sky Angel offers programming options from a wide range of Christian providers that include evangelical, fundamentalist, pentecostal, and conservative Protestant viewpoints^{[citation needed]} in addition to five channels offering Roman Catholic content.^[2] The family package currently offers more than 20 television channels including entertainment, news, weather, sports, family shows, kids programming and more.

The company's corporate headquarters is located in Naples, Florida.^[1] The company also has a Cleveland, Tennessee location where programming, engineering and network operations reside.

Sky Angel has received a seal of approval by the Parents Television Council for providing "family-friendly television programming.^[3]"

On April 1, 2008, Sky Angel ceased its satellite television broadcasting and began offering its subscription service programming through a broadband internet connection (Cable or DSL) and small set-top box.^[why?] Commonly known as IPTV, the technology does not require an outside dish or antenna for subscribers to view programming and the service is compatible with existing satellite or cable service. Sky Angel currently uses NeuLion Inc as its IPTV platform provider.^[4]

Other features include 48-hour playback on all faith-based TV channels, an ever-growing Video-On-Demand library with free and fee-based selections and compatibility to TiVo brand DVR boxes.

The service is currently available in the 50 United States and some U.S. territories including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.^[5]

Sky Angel presently offers over 80 TV and radio channels through three different subscription packages starting at $14.99 per month: Faith Package, Family Package and Family Values Pack.

Religious and inspirational channels available include Trinity Broadcasting Network, AFA, FamilyNet, Faith TV, Liberty Channel, EWTN, CBN, Kids & Teens TV, INSP and i-lifetv.

Family-friendly channels (as marked by Sky Angel) available include Fox News Channel, NFL Network, Planet Green, Discovery Channel, Discovery Kids, TVU, Animal Planet, Hallmark Channel, QVC, the Weather Channel, the Military Channel, the Pentagon Channel, BlueHighways TV, ION Life and qubo.

Sky Angel is continuing to add more channels and features to their lineup all the time.^[3]
