Skeid Fotball is a Norwegian football (soccer) club located in the capital Oslo. Its current home field is Bislett. In past decades it has gained a reputation as a talent factory for the larger clubs in Norwegian football, and it has produced several players for the national team such as Daniel Braaten, Daniel Fredheim Holm and Mohammed Abdellaoue. Skeid played in Adeccoligaen in 2009 after a short stint in the second division. She finished champion in Second Group of Norwegian Second Division in 2008. However, Skeid relegated again to Second Division as 16th and last despite a good start. They played in Norwegian Premier League between 1938-1970 (Norwegian League didn't play between 1940-1947), 1972-1975 (4 seasons), 1978-1980 (3 seasons), 1996-1997 (2 seasons). Their last season in the Norwegian Premier League was in 1999.
