Shingo Kunieda' (国枝 慎吾, born February 21, 1984 in Tokyo) is a Japanese number one singles wheelchair tennis player. Kunieda is a right-hander whose favorite surface is hard court. His coach is Hiromichi Maruyama. His training base is the Tennis Training Center (TTC) in Kashiwa. Kunieda likes to listen to music and likes snakes when he is away from the court. Kunieda uses an Ox Engineering wheelchair. He graduated from Reitaku University Japan and now works for Reitaku University.
