Shane Edwards is an Australian rules football player for the Richmond Football Club.

A wingman from the North Adelaide Football Club, he was taken at pick 26 in the 2006 AFL Draft. He played 16 games in his debut season, scoring 11 goals in total.

In 2008 Edwards had a good year playing off the Half Back Flank for Richmond, he also got 1 Brownlow Medal vote for his great performance against Essendon in round 9.

In 2009 Edwards was in and out of the side but was recalled for Jade Rawlings first game as coach in round 12 against West Coast.
