Shane Acker (born 1971, Wheaton, Illinois)^[1] is an Academy Award-nominated film director, producer, writer, animator and visual effects animator. He is well known for directing the award winning short film 9 which was adapted into the 2009 feature film of the same name produced by Focus Features and Starz Animation.
