Shahram Azhar is a Pakistani singer and is the lead vocalist of Laal The Band^[1]. He has a masters from Warwick University and is a graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is currently studying for a Ph.D in Economics on the Monetary Crisis and Inflation at Oxford University. He also teaches at the Iqra University in Islamabad.He is the socialist singer of Pakistan.

In just a short span of 6 months, Shahram along with his band have gained national as well as international recognition^[2] for their song, Main Nay Kaha (Musheer)^[3]. A satirical poem composed in the 1960's by Habib Jalib.
