Shael Riley (born November 12, 1981) is a singer/songwriter currently residing in New York City, New York. His music became widely known on the Internet through OverClocked ReMix due to a song called "Zelda, Music Of My Groin". [1][2][3][4], which pokes fun, or tributes, depending on the listener's point of view, the theme music for the popular Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda. In 2005, he created an album of original music entitled Toybox,[5] which was published free on the Internet and from which several tracks, particularly "Bit Pop" and "Down With Bane" became popular in nerdcore circles.[citation needed] Since then, he has performed his music before live audiences (typically in the New York area[citation needed]) and has been slated to open for more well-known Nerdcore artists such as MC Frontalot and Optimus Rhyme[citation needed]. He performed at the increasing large MAGFest[6] convention on January 5, 2007 with several other artists from the video game music arrangement community and, several days later, engaged in a freestyle rap battle with AE of the band Wave Theory during their performance.[7] On December 14, 2007, Riley's project, The Grammar Club, released its first EP, Bremelanotide. Other members of The Grammar Club include Beefy, DJ Snyder, and Glenn Case. [edit] References
