Seán Ardagh (born 25 November 1947) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He is currently a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South Central constituency.[1] A chartered accountant by profession, Ardagh was first elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1997 general election and retained his seat at the 2002 and 2007 general elections. He has served as Chairman of a number of Dáil committees and is a frequent media commentator.

He was first elected to Dublin County Council in 1985 and remained a member until 1999. He was elected to Dublin City Council in 1999 and remained a councillor until 2003.[2]
