Sandra Nilsson (born 17 February 1986 in Ystad, Sweden) is a Swedish model who was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for January 2008.[2] [edit] BiographySandra Nilsson was born in Ystad, Sweden, and raised in the small town of Sjöbo. On a trip to Paris with her family at the age of 14, she was approached by the Click agency with an offer to model. Feeling that she was too young, her family declined, but by 16 she had signed with the Lua Models agency in Sweden and began her career as a fashion model. Nilsson eventually moved to Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city, as her career continued to grow. Sandra worked for many Swedish brands and stores such as such as "Gloddigga", "Handskarna", "Jagersrocenter", and "I Decide", and she appeared in many national newspapers and magazines such as Aftonbladet, Ystad Allehandla, Kvallsposten, and Slitz. Nilsson's European career took off when she won and placed in many beauty competitions in Sweden and in the European Union. Among her many accolades are: Miss Salming (Sweden), Miss World Bikini Model - Miss Cinema Look (Malta), Miss EU (Italy) and Miss Siren (Serbia). Nilsson then won Miss Hawaiian Tropic for Sweden and launched her international career. With Hawaiian Tropic, Nilsson worked all over the world, appearing for 2 years in ads, calendars, billboards and commercials. She has appeared in many magazines and was the Spring 2007 cover model for the magazine Jetsettin’. She has also been featured sometimes on the Travel Channel. In 2006, Sandra Nilsson was voted Sweden’s 7th Sexiest Woman. She was the January 2008 Playboy Playmate, the first woman from Sweden to achieve this honor in over a decade. Sandra Nilsson currently lives in New York City where she is focused on her modeling and acting careers. She spends a great deal of time doing charity work and is a vegetarian[3] who likes to ride horses. [edit] References
