Same Girl, New Songs was a self-released Demo CD made by The All-American Rejects in 2001. The EP was written and recorded by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler from Stillwater, OK, along with drummer Tim Campbell. Same Girl, New Songs was sent off to Doghouse Records where an intern showed the CD to the label owner. The EP soon earned the band a recording contract. [1] The CD consists of songs written by Ritter and Wheeler, and was a combination of two previous demos. The songs "One More Sad Song", "Drive Away", "Too Far Gone", "Your Star" and "Don't Leave Me" were re-recorded for their label debut, self-titled release in 2002. Same Girl, New Songs is a rare CD, being produced by the band themselves. It was only available to the public at shows, and is no longer produced. [edit] Track listingTwo versions have been found on various sources on the internet, with version one's track 10 being the "I'm On The Football Team" hidden track, [2][3][4] and version two's being the song "Your Star".
