[edit] MottoFor God and Country [edit] UniformsThe school uniform is a white, short-sleeved shirt, grey trousers and a maroon tie bearing two stripes that represent the 'house' , i.e. red, yellow, blue or green. Class prefects and assistant prefects wear blue ties, without the descriptive colours. Socks are grey and shoes are black. There is a used uniform bank operated by community groups in the school which collect clothes from students who have outgrown them and give it to poorer students who cant afford new uniform at the start of the year. Even books and shoes are shared and used this way. [edit] InfrastructureThe school has three sections: Primary Section Standards LKG, UKG, 1st to 4th , Mid-Secondary Section , Standards 5th to 7th which is a relatively new building compared to the original stone building and The Higher Secondary section, Standards 8th to 10th. All class rooms can accommodate up to 60 students (5 rows of 12 benches each). It also has a library that can seat up to 80 students and is accessible during lunch breaks and up to 30 minutes after school is closed. The school has a single laboratory for scientific subjects and can accommodate 30 students at a time, the lab is on the fourth floor along with class rooms for standard 10th and the main auditorium. Staff rooms are situated on the first floor of the old and new buildings. The school provides free meals to the poorer students of its school. This initiative is driven through individual and private donations by parishioners and other students. The same premises has the Sacred Heart Church, a Victorian mid sized church which caters to parish members of Santacruz. The church is built in the shape of a laid out cross with mezzanine floors in the left and right arms. Beautiful stained glass windows adorns the church entrances. Towards the west gate of the campus and close to the church is a grotto frequented by people of all faiths. It has two modest auditoriums, generally referred to as the "School Hall", One on the ground floor of the new school building which acts as a make shift lunch room in the afternoon and one in the main stone structure on the fourth floor where skits, plays elocution competitions and the likes are staged. The auditorium also hosts wedding receptions, which are a source of revenue for the school. The ground floor auditorium has an upright piano that was used while conducting singing lessons which was a curriculum for the primary sections kids. A similar baby grand piano can be found in the 4th floor auditorium that is seldom used for school annual day functions. The school has a large 100 metre-long playground. The Parish house (Rectory) and office is situated between the main school building and the new school building. The school does not have a resident doctor or a trained paramedic in the campus but medical facilities are available within 200 meters of the school campus.
