Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) KRX: 034120 is one of four major national South Korean television and radio networks. On March 17, 2000, the company legally became known as SBS, changing its corporate name from Seoul Bangsong (서울 방송).

[edit] Controversy Activity

On July 30, 2008, SBS gave out a programme to show a full time rehearsal of Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony before it could be legally watched in August 8, 2008. On this programme, the rehearsal was clearly illustrated, including the show, the organization and the torch. Some sections had been uploaded to YouTube, which therefore made them available worldwide. Though YouTube removed the videos shortly thereafter, SBS were blamed by some for revealing the secret production.
