The Round Top Antiques Fair, also known as "the great American Country Show," and includes country and formal furniture from New England, the Midwest, the South, Texas, the West and Southwest. The fair has been held every summer for the past 39 years in Round Top, Texas. [1]

This is a very well established event that has continued to grow in popularity for forty years. Originally started in Round Top, Texas, several other shows began appearing in other nearby communities. Today the largest hubs of activity center in, and around, the rural communities of Warrenton, Round Top, Shelby, Fayetteville, Carmine, Oldenburg, and Rutersville. The largest show community is Warrenton, Texas, (south of Round Top, Texas) where several halls and dozens of fields are filled twice a year in April and October. Since 1990 there has been a tremendous growth and the event has become better known as AntiqueWeekend. Approximately fifty independent show promoters occupy more than 300 acres during the event. [2]
