Rosmalen (population 35.000) is a city in the province of North Brabant, in the south of the Netherlands. It is located near 's-Hertogenbosch and belongs to its municipality.

Rosmalen is a small city in Noord-Brabant. Rosmalen has approximately 35.000 inhabitants. In 2005 the city has begun the construction of a new neighbourhood: De Groote Wielen (The Big Kolks made by the flood water). 5.000 Homes and other buildings will be built. Rosmalen has a rather big and locally well known football-club; OJC Rosmalen. The 1st team of the seniors are in the highest amateur-division of the Netherlands. The youth-teams also belong to the best of amateurs in the Netherlands. Many players from OJC have played for professional football clubs, like FC Den Bosch, RKC Waalwijk, Willem II, etc. Rosmalen is also the home of one of the biggest basketballclubs of the Netherlands: The Black Eagles. Well known players like Kees Akerboom Jr.(Eiffel Towers Den Bosch), Thijs Vermeulen and Rob van Mil(both Matrixx Magixx) are examples of one of the best youth-educations in baketball in the Netherlands.

Rosmalen is the location of the Autotron car museum/attraction park. The park also annually hosts an international tennis tournament in the summer: The Ordina Open. The park is located about 7 km east of 's-Hertogenbosch, and can be reached via the A59.

Rosmalen was a separate municipality until 1996, when it became part of 's-Hertogenbosch.[1]
