The Roman Catholic Diocese of Guadix (Latin: Guadicen(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Guadix in the Ecclesiastical province of Granada in Spain. The bishop-elect of the diocese is Bishop Gines Ramon Garcia Beltran, who was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday, December 3, 2009. He was formerly canon of the cathedral of Almeria, Spain. The bishop-elect was born in Lora, Spain in 1961, and was ordained a priest in 1985. He will be ordained and installed as bishop at a future date. He succeeds Bishop Emeritus Juan Garcia-Santacruz Ortiz, whose resignation was accepted the same day because he had reached the age limit of 75 when bishops ordinarily retire.
