Rodolfo Esteban Cardoso (born October 17 1968 in Azul) is a retired Argentine football midfielder who spent the majority of his playing career in Germany, currently Head Coach of the Reserve team from Hamburger SV.
[edit] CareerCardoso started his professional playing career in 1987 with Estudiantes de La Plata, in 1989 he was signed by German side Homberg. He went on to play for Freiburg and Werder Bremen before joining Hamburger SV in 1997. Between 1998 and 1999 he returned to Argentina on loan to Boca Juniors and then Estudiantes de La Plata. He returned to Germany in 1999 and continued playing for the club until his retirement in 2004.
