Career highlights

Rodney Maynard (born 21 September 1966 in Lameroo) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Adelaide in the AFL.

Maynard played mostly as a defender at Adelaide, having come to the club from Norwood. He was a member of Adelaide's inaugural side in 1991 and is on the interchange bench in the club's official 'Team of the Decade'. After leaving the AFL, Maynard returned to Lameroo and went on to win six Mail Medals for the best and fairest in the Mallee Football League. His brother Brenton who didn't make the AFL won 4 Mail medals. Maynard regularly competes in the West End Slowdown. At the end of 2008 he retired from Lameroo winning the premiership on that day.
