Roberto Carlos Gutiérrez Gamboa (born April 18, 1983) is a Chilean forward, who plays for Universidad Católica in Chile.

In 2003 he was promoted to first team at the Universidad Católica by the Crusaders' coach, Óscar Meneses. He appeared as one of the team's most promising young talents.

However, Roberto Gutierrez, in his first friendly match of preseason, suffered a cut ligaments and was arrested almost throughout the year. The news, it almost collapsed, but this young man born in Curacaví, showed all his temple to succeed.

In 2004, and was recovered along with Jorge Pellicer showed flashes of his quality. He noted several goals and hinted his character scorer off the bows rivals. Unfortunately, again a strong injury.
