Robert Braiden born 24 January 1971 in Sydney, Australia is a writer, actor and director. He lives in Brisbane, Queensland.

Raised in Liverpool and attended Nuwarra Public School and later Holsworthy High School, he moved to Brisbane in 1986.

He directed the film "Falling" which was funded by QPIX and the Australian Film Commission and which premiered at the Palace Centro Cinemas on James Street in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane on 23 August 2007. He also wrote the film Nine Miles Beautiful.

He has appeared as an actor in the feature films Diamond of Jeru, Inspector Gadget 2 and The Great Raid, as well as the Australian television series The Sleepover Club.

His most recent professional stage appearance was in the 2005 production of the controversial Terrence McNally play Sweet Eros. and i was in the film falling
