Robert Douglas Cosby (born April 2, 1981 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Minor league baseball infielder who is currently a free agent. Cosby was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th round, 313th overall, in the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft.

[edit] Minor league career

After being drafted by the Blue Jays, Cosby was assigned to the Medicine Hat Blue Jays of the rookie-level Pioneer League. He then spent 2000 to 2003 in Single-A and 2004, 2005, and 2007 in Double-A for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. He played in Triple-A in 2006 for the Syracuse SkyChiefs. In 2008, he played in Double-A for the Houston Astros organization. He became a free agent at the end of the season.
