Rizari is a village in Edessa. Rizari is 7km from the city center Edessas away. Rizari is 85km west of Thesaloniki.

Rizari is famous for its fields for example peach fields or apricots fields. But peaches are mostly grown and sold in Greece and abroad. For these peaches are jams, juices and canned peaches in manufactured. Another famous fruit -kiwi- with exelent characteristics,is grown in the fields. The gardens between the national road (Thessaloniki-Florina) are famous.

Most people in Rizari are Greeks. But there are also many Jypsies (Roma) and some Albanians which are working at the fields in order to feed their families.

• Marietta Chrousala (1983 - ) - fashion model and television presenter

Miss Chrousala just borned in the village. Historical persons there are many. A great demokrat "Tarzan" from the 40's(2nd World War)was born at this small village.
