Rita Hazan is a New York based hair colour expert.

Rita spent the first ten years of her career at the famous Manhattan Oribe salon and then opened her own high-end hair and beauty salon on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in 2003.

In November 2007 Rita appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show where she explained that a woman’s personality is the key to choosing a successful hair colour and how she gauges hair colours for her clients based in their personalities.

She has been profiled in fashion and beauty magazines such as Elle (US), Glamour (US) and Vogue (US).

Her celebrity clients include Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Rachel Weisz. She was introduced into the celebrity arena after a successful colouring session with Mariah Carey.
