Richard Kyes "Rik" Bonness (born March 20, 1954 in Borger, Texas) is a former professional football player, a linebacker for four seasons in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bonness played high school football in Nebraska at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, a suburb south of Omaha. He graduated from high school in 1972 and then played college football at Nebraska, where he was a center on the offensive line. In his senior season of 1975, Bonness was a consensus All-American.
