Rhoemetalces III (Ancient Greek: Ρωμητάλκης) was a king of the Sapaean Thracians. The son of Cotys III, he succeeded his father in 26 AD, although his portion of Thrace was actually governed by a Roman caretaker until 38 AD. Rhoemetalces was murdered in 46 AD, whereupon Thrace became incorporated into the Roman Empire as a province.^[1]
