A recorded live track is a song or audio sequence recorded from live performances (e.g. concerts, comedy clubs, etc.). Live song tracks typically have concert hall noise (cheering, whistling, applause, etc.). Despite redundancy and inaccuracy, compared to original studio-recorded versions, live versions of songs have quite a bit of popularity. [edit] Pseudo-live versionsSometimes, a studio recorded track (the original version or a cleanly re-recorded version) has cheering dubbed onto it to give the illusion of it being a live track. Examples include Cab Calloway's 1980 remake of "Minnie the Moocher", Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile", King's X's cover of "Manic Depression",Johnny Rivers's "Live At The Whisky-a-Go-Go" series and "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush.
