Rangi Chase (born 11 April 1986) is a super league player in the Engage Super League (Super League) competition, who plays for the Castleford Tigers.

He has joined European Super League side Castleford Tigers for the 2009 season. He will link up in the halves with Brent Sherwin.^[1][2]

He was named for the New Zealand training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.^[3]

Chase had an excellent 2009 season, scoring 10 tries and making more tackle busts than any other player in Superleague. Earning him Castleford Tigers player of the year award.

On 21st August 2009, it emerged that Chase had signed a new four year contract with the Tigers. Keeping him at The Jungle until 2013.
