Rampart General Hospital is the fictional hospital in the series Emergency! and located in Los Angeles, California.

The hospital building shown on the show was actually Los Angeles County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.

The hospital, same as its real-life counterpart, is an entity of Los Angeles County government and is supported by taxes. In one episode a woman (played by Aneta Corsaut), hearing that Johnny and Roy are about to take her indisposed father to Rampart, insists on the (fictional) "Century Pavilion Hospital," miles away in the Century City area, rather than a "charity" (public) hospital such as Rampart. She threatens to sue if they refuse, until her father regains consciousness and agrees to go to Rampart.

In an episode near the end of the series, one character, an aged jazz musician, hearing the name Rampart General, says, "My grandaddy used to play on Rampart Street in New Orleans!"
